F.A.Q.

Does it hurt?
Piercing: All piercings are different. There is an element of pain but it is short lived and bearable. Our piercers are very skilled at grounding you and preparing you for your piercing.
Tattoo: People have compared it to a cat scratch and the healing to sunburn
Do you have any specials?
Every Monday we offer $30 nostril piercings with our standard jewelry. We do this because we just love piercing nostrils so much!
Every Wednesday we offer 2 for 1 piercings. You can get any 2 piercings and only get charged for the more expensive one. Surface piercings, anchors and all genital piercings are included along with basic piercings. (must be on same person)
We run a black friday tattoo special every year over black friday weekend. You can get 50% off a tattoo you get done that day or any tattoo you put a deposit on and book for the future.
What do you have to do to heal a tattoo or piercing?
We will give you aftercare instructions (written and verbal) to carefully advise you on the proper care for your new modification. Tattoos require daily cleaning and the application of a healing product and piercings require daily soaking in a sea salt solution. For further, more detailed information please contact us and we will promptly answer your questions.
What do I do if I think I have an infection/irritation?
The best thing to do is to come into the studio. We are the tattoo and piercing professionals. If we feel your scenario requires a doctor we will not hesitate to tell you but the majority of issues you may have can be easily corrected. Many people confuse irritations with infections. We are very knowledgable in our area of expertise so please give us the first opportunity to help you.
Do I need an appointment?
No, stop in anytime. We take walk-ins 7 days a week for piercing and our tattoo artists are available to answer your questions or tattoo you!
If I have my own artwork or something someone drew for me can I bring it in and get it tattooed?
Yes! We love doing custom work. We will help you to make sure your design is tattoo-able and will last you a lifetime.
I got pierced/tattooed somewhere else and I have a questions about it?
Every shop is different and every shop deserves the right and respect to correct or help you with work that they have done. Our main concern is your health, discrediting another studio is not. We are not going to judge you, or who and how you got your modification; a question is a question, and we would rather be unbiased.
Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! And for any amount! They are conveniently credit card sized and re-loadable! Perfect for any occasion.
Can you cover or re-do an existing tattoo?
Yes we can! Once we see your tattoo we can help you find or design artwork that will work over your tattoo
Do you accept  Credit/Debit?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit... and of course cash... Sorry, no checks
Do you pierce with ear piercing guns?
NO WAY! A piercing gun cannot be properly sterilized for any invasive procedure. The way they puncture the skin causes much more unnecessary damage and pain. Tissue is disrupted so badly that it creates more scarring (hence a large bump that often appears on the back of cartilage piercings)
Can I tan?
Piercing: Spray tanning could irritate or stain any fresh piercing. Regular tanning should not affect your piercing, just keep your lotions away from your fresh piercing.
Tattoo: Tanning could affect the healing of your fresh tattoo and could fade color to a healed tattoo. Protect your tattoo from the sun and tanning rays with a strong SPF. Spray tanning could irritate or stain a new tattoo. Please wait until your tattoo is fully healed before exposing it to spray tanning.
Is a tattoo expensive? What is the standard price?
Tattoo pricing is very specific to the tattoo. We ask that you come in with your idea or any reference you have and we can consult with you and ask the specific questions we need to know so we can price your tattoo as accurately as possible. We prefer not to do any pricing over the phone.
Can I go swimming with my new tattoo/piercing?
It is not safe to expose ANY open wound to ANY body of water. Infection risks are very high with this exposure. Think about it... fish fecal matter, leave debris, boat waste and that guy standing next you... do you trust his hygiene? yeah all that stuff is in the water that you are thinking about exposing your new modification to. Our "rule of thumb" is if you wouldn't ingest it, or spray it in your eyeball it doesn't belong in/on or near your fresh tattoo/piercing. We can go over the risks in more detail and how to protect your long healing piercing from the dangers of water. Your tattoo can take 2-3 weeks to heal and you should avoid bodies of water for that period of time.
