Sterilization
We use Nitrile exam gloves that are checked and changed throughout all procedures. Our sterilizers are tested monthly to assure that they are working properly. Everything we use for your tattoo or piercing is single service, right down to the pen we use to mark your piercing. Tools are sufficiently cleaned, processed, and sterilized before use. We also disinfect our work surfaces, tables, and chairs with virucidals. Please ask us to show you around our studio and we will explain how and where we process our equipment.

FAQ

What does tattooing feel like?
People have compared the actual process to a cat scratch and the healing to sunburn.

What do you have to do to heal a tattoo or piercing?
We give you aftercare instructions (written and verbal) to carefully advise you on the proper care of your new modification. Tattoos require a daily application of an ointment, and piercings need frequent sea salt soaks and antimicrobial washes. For further, more detailed info, please contact us and we will promptly and happily answer your questions.

What do I do if I get an infection/irritation?
The best thing to do is come into the studio so we can properly identify the problem. A lot of irritations from clothing, activities, and lifestyles are often mistaken for other issues. We are very knowledgeable in our area of expertise so please give us the first opportunity to help you.

Do I need an appointment to come in?
Stop in anytime, you don't need an appointment to come in and look, ask questions, or just meet everyone.

How do I set up an appointment for a tattoo/piercing?
We do our best to take walk-ins all the time, but the best thing to do is come into the studio so we can answer you specific questions one on one. We have tons of artwork available. We also display our piercer's and tattooist's portfolios so you can view all of our specific talents first hand. Setting up appointments over the phone and online can all be managed, so please contact us if coming into the studio is not convenient for you.

If I have artwork of my own that I, or someone else, drew, or I just have
an idea can you design a tattoo for me?

Of course, we love doing custom work.
Please feel free to bring in your own ideas and artwork.

I got pierced/tattooed somewhere else and I have questions about it?
Every shop is different, please contact us if you have any specific concerns we will be happy to help you. Our main concern is your health, discrediting another studio is not. We are not going to judge you, or who, and how you got your modification; a question is a question, and we would rather be unbiased.

Do you have gift certificates?
Yes, and for any amount.

Can you cover up or re-do an existing tattoo?
Yes, we can. Once we see your tattoo we can help you find or design artwork that
will work over your tattoo.

Do you accept Credit/Debit?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit, and of course cash…Sorry, not checks.

Do you pierce with ear piercing guns?
NO WAY ! A piercing gun cannot be properly sterilized for any invasive procedure. The way they puncture the skin causes much more unneeded damage and pain. Tissue is disrupted so badly that it creates more scarring (hence the big lump on the back of some people's ears).

After Care

We will give you specific written and verbal aftercare for your new tattoo/piercing. For your convenience we offer products in the studio that we suggest for cleansing and healing, but we will also give you names of other solutions that are accessible outside our establishment.
